The days are growing longer, the sun becomes warmer, the snow melts

and doesn't cover any longer the relics of last summer. This morning

my eye felt on this little, nearly lost memory. I hope you like this

scene of past glory.

Your comments are welcome.

It's fine to look at this, sitting warm inside, in front of your picture, you had made with froozen fingers. You found the last rests as lost memory, but you show it to us, as a brilliant!

Thank you Wim, I'm really very happy with your enthusiastic reaction. I was in doubt about this shot because people could think I'd arranged all the objects, but I didn't. I found this nice composition in our garden. I had to be very quick with my camera, because the place is exposed to the wind. Lucky me, the wind held it's breath for a short moment and this is the result. Cheers ~Wim~, Ada:)))

Ada, such "found still-lifes" are wonderful, no? Still, it takes a special eye such as yours to see them! This is very pretty and delicate. Thank you for sharing it with us...Lee

I hope you are out and about now? At least your getting out into the garden :). Ada I love these natural still lifes that you are doing. Lee is right, you have an amazing eye to be able to see them so well. Actually both your eyes look pretty amazing hehe ;). Oops sorry shhh. I'm wondering if you are using the sharpen function in PS. Looking at this shot I feel you could sharpen it a hair more. Great framing your doing also. Very original! Warmest :)'s Nova.

Excellent composition and very artistically composed. The feelings and emotions you put in this are tremendous. May be a poetry in graphics. As they say that you should have the eye to see things for capture as image as most of us walk by situations like these without even noticing. Very thoughtfully presented indeed.

Kind regards.

PS. Congrats for the Rebel (was this a birthday present)

It doesnt say lost memory to me, maybe i have none left. Tones are great however and water so clear, or is it in mid air?? Your new framing is so excellent, pretty soon will rival Jayme's. Veryyyyyyyy nicely done Ada.

Dear Lee, so nice you like my simple still life. Since I'm housebound the last weeks, I mentioned that I've kept much more eye for the little things and details which surrounds me. This forced 'sabbatical' has also it's positive sides:). Too many positive sides!(LOL)

Hi Michael, thank for your comment. As you say, to make a nice and matching frame is not so easy. It costs me always a lot of time and I'm seldom content with the finally result of it. I know that a frame can make or break your picture. For my frames I always use colours which are in my picture. Most of the time it works well:)

Thank you Ektor for visiting me. I have to pay you a visit in a short time. I love your pictures, you know that! Saludos:) Ada.

Hello again Nova, I'm happy with your approval concerns my picture.

Yes, I've tried the sharpen function. I couldn't go further than this. Besides, I have some questions about taking macro shots with the Rebel. I had planned to send you an e-mail about it, is that ok?

Hi Zafar, I'm very flattered by your kind words and I appreciate you took the time to look to my attempt to make something nice. The new camera was a birthday present, indeed. It was a great surprise and I'm very happy with it:~)

Cameras & resulting images are used to capture memories, that will otherwise be lost. You have done a great work here Ada , with beautiful tones & composition. A lost memory recovered in your folder, to be treasured & reviewed.

Very nice earth tones, Ada, and the composition is excellent. I wish that shots like this were more generally appreciated.

Cherlyn, It's so nice to hear that you like this little beauty. It looks like a lot of old rubbish, but this composition belongs to one of my favourites ones in my still-life folder. I'm sure I will review it many times, my dear Cherlyn. Cheers:) Ada.

Well Lannie, I agree with you, there is not so much attention for shots like this one. I think people have to go through difficult and heavy periodes in their lives to be able to appreciate the simple things in live.

Oh, hear me! I talk like a minister. Well, it's Sunday today;0) Nice you were here Lannie, I wish you all the best, Ada:)
