sasi 0 Posted February 28, 2005 Nice effect... looks like a paint. i'm interested to know how you kept water relatively sharp compared to the buildings? A double exposure? Link to comment

jerry ting 1 Posted February 28, 2005 David, you are welcome. I'll take a look at your dragon when I get a chance. Sasi, that's exactly what I mentioned in the RFC message and I'm glad that you notice that. The trick is (it's actually an accident) to not screw the camera on the tripod so tightly so during the long exposure the camera slowly slide down to the point where it stops in the middle. This is why those lights are blurred but the water is clear. It's kind of cool, isn't it? Thanks for stopping by. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted February 28, 2005 Jerry you have turned straw into gold here. I knew thats how it was done!!! Am the proud owner of many myself cause had to get a slightly less than required tri at the time...an "impressionist" tripod lol. This turned out very well. Link to comment
cromwell1664877587 0 Posted January 7, 2007 I truly love this, Jerry. Hands down the best shot of Cleveland I've ever seen. Come to think of it, it's probably in the top ten of all cityscapes I've ever seen. Link to comment
