juke 0 Posted February 28, 2005 This is old school of the village Miehikk䬤, south-eastern cornerof the Finland (aprx. 10km from Russia). Now this building is used as a library. There is nothing special in architecture of building, but I havealways liked it.Image is taken at late afternoon 27th of July 2004. At that momentI decided that if I want to photograph that building, it has to benow. The light was so beautiful. The only thing that bothers me, is flagpole - but I could not cutit down ;)All comments and critique are very welcome. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted February 28, 2005 You're right -- the architechture is nothing "special" but it's an appealing building none-the-less :) I would have been drawn to photograph it too, particularly in this light. While everything about this photo calls out "average" I still find it quite enjoyable not only as a pure "I was there" photo, but because the proportions are nice, and it's obviously something that pleases you, which in my opinion can turn "average" photos into special ones. You took care on this and it shows - well done :) Link to comment
