Every new day is unique. We have the opportunity to become a better person. Image best viewed LARGER. Special thanks for encouraging comments from JF Ochoa and Tuhin Saha who made me see the image in a different way. Thanks for your time.

Brad, thank you very much for let me know what you think about the image. I appreciate it.

I have changed the title and reuploaded the image with little more of the ground, because I think the sky is better based on it that way. Hope you like the change. Regards, Baldur

This is an outstanding image. The almost fading horizon line is beautiful and the sky is one of the nicest skies I have seen in this site. It's fantastic as a so simple shot can become a great image. Congratulations my dear.

Colin, many thanks for the comment. Glad you like it. I used the diagonal line of the ground to the right against the diagonal lines of the sky. The curve of the poles makes a small circle effeft, which I think is in a way a connection to the 24 hours !?

Agreeing with everyone above this is a lovely skyscape. That burning light, be it first or last of the day only lasts seconds and you've caught it for ever. The simplicity of the composition with just a touch of the silhouetted land gives a calm and tranquil feel.

Very unusual in its form and beauty, Baldur.

Great Capture! I like as well the poles seeing from far away. Pnina
