Same as previous, but with barbed-wire removed and a slight color

shift. I had left the wire since it seemed to add perspective, but

your comments changed my mind. Thanks for the input.

Dave: It is a great shot. Those clouds are just so dramatic. Equally impressive is the overall quality feel of the photograph. I've read good things about Hartblei lens and this shot underscores the point. I'd be proud to hang this one on my wall.

I do think that cloning out the barbed wire improves the framing. The colder color tone, however, works less well (IMO). And I'd also suggest trying some dodging in the sand in the foreground as a way to offer a balancing set of highlights to that marvelous sky. Attached is a an example (albeit a poor one) of what I mean.

Bottom line, though...a great shot!
