Even covering the sun with my fingertip helps me see a more balanced pic. I might even consider removing the sun altogether! Not sure what you think about such things ... Link to comment
pdoyle 0 Posted February 26, 2005 I don't mind the sun in the frame although I think it's good that you chose an angle where the sun isn't reflected in its full strength in the bottom half - that might be too much. Personally I find the photo well-balanced and not lacking in foreground interest. Very nice overall! Link to comment

marcadamus 1 Posted March 5, 2005 Fantastical atmosphere, dreamy, beautiful and almost otherworldly. The sky is very strong, though I might wish the water was equally so. The composition is flawless, I love every bit of it! The use of a split grad here is questionable, as the sky overpowers its reflection, but I really don't think it detracts. The soft, muted reflection creates a nessesary contrast in the image. Overall, I like it very much. 7/6 Link to comment
