Amazing subject like a strange building or tower!

but it is a simple twig.

Nice captured in your special frame.

Yes Ada, I like this one so much becouse of the simplicity.

Did you find this one sitting under the neighbours palm?

This is a very small tip of a Japanese Maple twig. We have plant the

little bush a couple of weeks ago in our garden. I was surprised by

the particular shape of the tip, which lenght is only 4 millimetre.

I'm wondering if you like the way I've tried to make this little

thing interesting to look at. So, your comments are very welcome.

Thank you.

I like the simplicity too and I like the colour of the background. Seems very well done to me. I really don't like that frame but I guess that's a very subjective thing. I'll try an ignore the frame for my rating though.

Thank you very much for your kind words and appreciation. And to answere your question, yes this plant comes from next door. Since I have to look after the subtropical garden, our garden isn't less empty as it was before.

BTW, you are invited to enjoy the party, Wim. And don't forget your camera! (LOL)

I like it very much that, inspite the frame, you enjoy my picture. I really appreciate that. I know, a frame is a very personal case. A matter of taste. Cheers:) Ada.

Very interesting shape and details. I like the way the frame gradually fades out the twig - very modern and sparse.

It is growing cold here and I am looking forward to the subtropical garden, Ada dear! Perhaps it will remind me of my days in Panama! Is Wim coming, too, then - does he shoot digi or film? You might tell him I never travel without my gear...

Dear @d@, I am sorry for spoiling the celebration, but here I come with my perverted imagination... The first thing that I associate with this twig is the popular gesture with extended middle finger... The longer I look the more I want to respond to the bold Japanese Twig showing me the finger... Maybe it's just my perverted comprehension, but the way the twig goes straight up - ugh... Great colors, light and sharpness, though... Oh these Japanese Maple twigs... #:-/ Sorry again!

Thank you Ektor, I'm very happy with your enthousiast reaction on my shot.

Paul, Thank you, I'm feel always very honoured when you drop by.

Hi Andrey, you certainly not disturb the party! I like to hear your opinion and you are invited too, of course. And (LOL) I had the same naughty thoughts as you have by seeing this strange freak of nature:)))

Nice to hear that you are enthusiast about my composition. Neighbour asked me from his sickbed to give his warmest regards to you and for the rest of the time he can't do anything else as moan 'poes, poes, poes, poes, poes ....'! (LOL)

What's keeping you two? I hope you're on your way because everything is ready here. The sauna is warming up and me too!! It's really hot in the botanical garden. I'm glad it starts to snow a bit because I think I need a cool down before I'm able to welcome my gasts from overseas. I show you a picture which Wim took from me this morning.(Yes Lee, he is already here with me and he has a digital!) It looks good, don't you think?:)))

Well sweethearts, I hope we will embrace tonight!:)))) (LOL)

what are the cucumbers for in the portrait above? Is it to entice wandering vegans into the garden? I believe our little group is all of the carnivorous class! I see someone has been working on her tan - VERY unhealthy! LOL! Very nice mask - Nova must give me some time to shop at the Black Market for one of my own - not to mention a nice string bikini...

You naughty girl - what did you think I would say about your lovely plant here? It is NOT the middle finger that I thought of...I wish I could read what Loft has had to say, as I suspect he has "seen" something as well! Isn't it amazing how shapes and patterns are repeated in nature?

Ada, elsewhere you said, "I have a secret mind-expanding recipe I always use for the sauna" - "herbs from the forest"?

I've been reading that stuff is legal in your country...Gotta tell ya, it puts me right out...(yawn!). My mind must be expanded enough! 'Scuse me...nitey nite...

O boys, it is so hot here in neighbours garden.

My sister is total glowing and waiting for you.

Do'n forget your camera, you can get the most beautiful shots here.

See you later, Wim.

To answer your first question: My brother Wim has arrived here this morning with his wife and kids. He was a bit restless in anticipation of the arrival of you and Nova and all the other American and Canadian PN friends. I ask him to invent some thing to calm down and he got a splendid idea to past the time. He started to make pictures for the yellow bus we rent to pick you up at the airport tonight, to make it more recognizable for you. Big posters at all sides of the bus. Posters of me with some parrots (which flow around here in the garden)on my shoulder. But the parrots were not very docile this morning. Wim has tried to entice them with some slices of cucumber but the birds wouldn't bite, sighhh, lucky me!! (LOL)

Oh and yes, I know my face is a bit burned. I felt asleep under the solar panels because I was so tired of spending the whole night in the forest to search my herbs. Besides, the harvest is enormous!! I think we have enough to get whole Maarheeze with it's head in the clouds.

You are right Lee, soft drugs are legal here, but the stuff I always use is not available in the coffeshops and I don't trust the dealers. I like to play safe:)))

Good idea to buy a bikini in The Black Market, Lee. I'm sure you will find a very exotic little thing there. I think Nova should feel himself very flattered if you ask him to accompany you to the shop so he can give his opinion. I think he has a good eye for such things.(LOL) Will you get a string for me too, Lee? Extra small, please. I like to wear those things very thight, just like you.(LOL)

Well, as you can see, we are ready to welcome you. Beer is in the fridge. Champagne is in the cooler, caviar is ordered and the camera's are focused!!! (LOL)

Yawn...do you have any orange juice for that champagne? We call that a "mimosa" - doesn't that sound pretty? "Cameras are Focussed" - guess it's too late to lose that last 2 pounds...maybe a nice 30 minute run - you know how we Americans are! Does that neighbor have a lap pool there in the basement - it must be heated, though, because I'm very delicate, you know! I haven't been in the snow for 24 years, really! I may never leave the neighbor's garden - when does Spring come there? You can see I am full of questions!

Thank you for the big yellow bus, but I believe in travelling light. What more do I need besides my photo backpack and our new string bikinis stuffed into the pocket of my jeans? Passport and traveller's cheques and I'm good to go - oh yes, mustn't forget the tequila!

It's so good that you pick and grow your own herbs, Ada! Nothing like quality control, hmmm? Which reminds me - have we invited Paul? I'm sure he was thrilled to hear that you have some decent music over there - after all, if you have Procol Harum...Speaking of "A Whiter Shade of Pale", Ada - wait until you see me in a bikini! You and your tan...

I am on my way - but feel free to start the party without me!

You have read Lee's comment:) Well that brought me to this. Music! I forgot the music! Of course we can make it by ourselfs. 3 Guitars, 4 accordions, a piano, mandolin, 5 several flute's, bagpipes, a triangel and Inky's djembe, that must be enough to get the mood going. But....I was pondering about those little late hours, when we are a bit stoned of the home-made wine, Lee's tequila and mimosa's and my saunaherbs. The time we're in the mood for....you know? Yes, of course you know! (LOL)

I think we need a singer and a band. Or a good diskjockey. Not such a pimply oaf, but a handsome guy of our own age. Somebody who is crazy about music and who knows all about the sixties and seventies, Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Hendrix, Santana, The Who, The Doors, Stevie Ray Vaughn. Have you any idea who is suitable for that job, Wim? I know such a guy, a real old rocker, but I don't dare to ask him. I'm afraid he will refuse because he is too busy in his sunflowerfield. Do you know that O.K. guy I have in my mind? Have you any idea how to handle this? Let me know, let me know!!

Of course you are invited too!(LOL) If you come by boat please bring along your delicious Glenfidich by the shipload! Should be great when we get the Scotch whole so I hope the sea will be not too choppy. Oh Michael, I forget to ask you,... please will you do Lee a favour and put on your Kilt!!! (LOL)
