netdeco 0 Posted February 25, 2005 Great shot! I think the only thing I might do is to crop the shot so the very top left of the building/sky isn't creeping into the picture. It's an architectural perspective issue that sometimes is hard to get aroud. You may even be able to tilt the who picture to avoid it (depending on how much more of the picture you have off frame). joemoree 0 Posted February 25, 2005 Thanks for the comments,I am a bit dubious on the sky peeking in too,I shot this at a low angle though and was afraid of cutting out too much...I may try it and see what everyone thinks. Thanks for your time. Link to comment
endaemon 0 Posted February 25, 2005 I'm a fan of lines. Lines everywhere with that happy bit of residue that runs off of the roof of the building. I even kinda like that the building doesn't takeup the entire frame. It took me a moment to see the empty space in the right side of the frame. However, i think if the building did takeup the entire frame it would be to busy. The empty spots lend some balance to the whole photo. Nice one. Link to comment
joemoree 0 Posted February 25, 2005 Thanks Kris...exactly what I saw in the shot to begin with.I am always trying to better myself and my shots as far as composition goes,3rds,lines,triangles...ect.Thanks for commenting...much appreciated. Link to comment
tzenyujuei 0 Posted March 9, 2005 i like this... something about the form of those stairs is quite compelling. I wold suggest cropping out the bricks on the bottom just to simplify the composition. good work. Link to comment
