water pressure

sasho1

Stacked lens for supermacro, i just reversed and taped zenit helios 44 lens on the sonys' lens, (when stacked even when zoom is on 200mm, some vigneting is present, the options are cropping or digital zoom on - :-P ), toned in PS

Yes, this interesting water abstract does deserve a comment. It is a very acomplished photograph, which to my humble eye looks technically faultless! I was wondering if the blue hue was natural, or wheter or not it was added post production? - either way it is very effective, and after-all, water is always supposed to be blue. My only concern about images such as this, is that they ultimately lack soul, or purpose - only my humble opinion of course!

thank you all, i apriciate every comment and especially thank you Nicholas, this photo is actually my first experiment with stacking lenses, this is my kitchen sink, which is some grey metalic, the photo seamed like its converted to grey in PS, i toned it in PS ... and i think you are right, smth important is really missing in this photo...i just wanted to chenk with the PN community this experiment... thanks again to all of you

Then, if this is your first experiment, you should continue, as you have shown that you are very good at this technique. Perhaps with practice, you will find that "something else" factor.

Good luck in your quest!

Regards, Nick.

I love it all: color, lighting and composition. I gave it 6 only because of PS. Very original.

Did you blur the background in PS or in the DOF?
