Garden Orb Weaver (eriophora biapicata)

mbrown

Common Spider found in most states of Australia, they make a very impressive circular web, which covers a very large area. Most peoples experiences with these spiders are when they inadvertantly walk into the web and find this hairy little bugger on their face. They can bite, but it is not considered that venomous, but may cause some swelling and pain for around 30 mins.

I'm not really a botanist, so if any of the info on this spider is

wrong, I apologise...other wise, any critiques would be appreciated,

Itook this hand held with the flash head facing above the spider.
