This is taken on the 6th floor of a building near the central

business district. 2 images stitch together at 70mm. Perhaps too late

in the evening to get more details in the clouds? I'll probably go

back again on a different time.

I've seen many photographers like to use the same spot and angle to shoot the Singapore river. But I find yours very outstanding. One of the best I've seen.

Rick, Spencer, CHips, thanks for coming by. This is taken last Saturday and I guess many of the Singaporeans are in Orchard Road watching the ChinGay celebrations. Singapore's equivalent to the Mardi Gras. That's why there are not many cars around.

Alec, this is a beautiful composition. The colours, details and exposure is very good.By moving upto the 6th floor, perhaps you got a better view of the area.

Thanks guys. If you love this image please look at my Chinatown Panorama Took me quite some time to render the 3 images together. Think I got it right this time.

Thanks again guys. It was a bit dark for my liking but I guess it's different from the usual twilight shot. Tien, this is taken from No. 1 North bridge Road Building.

I like all the illumination, the little bit of reflection, and the sqare crop. The burnt out detail in the building's spotlit areas will probably bother you enough to return for another shot. All in all, still works for me. ^_^

Pitman, Jerry thanks for your kind words. Wilson as always appreciate your critique. I did actually bracket the shots so if need be I can manipulate it with another layer from the correct exposure without the burn-out highlights for the perfect print. ^_^ However in this case unmanipulated, except for cleaning up the stitched areas of the two vertical images panorama.
