Excellent job on this. It is correctly focused, correctly exposed, and the subject fills the frame well. Background is suitably blurred. Colour saturation is vivid, yet believable and natural looking for the subject. There is great detail and sharpness in the feathers. Do not sharpen this image any more. The only critical comment I can think of really has nothing to do with what you did: I wish that stick wasn't there in front of the bird, but what are ya gonna do?

even before reading the remarks my first thought was "bummer about that stick!" But it's a beautiful catch - well done!

This has the most natural-looking color I have seen in a long time. Focus is razor-sharp, and the detail is about as good as it gets. Without the stick I would rate this one seven and seven, as it is, I give it 7/6
