Sunrise Light

Almansa, in southern Castile, is a proud city dominated by a mighty castle on top of a small hill. I got up early looking for the warm light of a summer sunrise, since I knew that I didn't stand any chance of having clouds to illustrate my images.

On my way up to the castle I was struck by the beauty of this street.

I hesitated on uploading the B&W version but then thought that such great light needed the hommage of the original Velvia colours of the slide.

The focus probably needs to be a little sharper.

And where, exactly, would you like to have a sharper focus? Background, foreground or middleground?

Your clarification on your comment would help my optician in getting new glasses for me...

Me gusta mas la version en color. El tono dorado de la fachada al fondo lo sugiere.
