alberto.conde 0 Posted February 20, 2005 The castle of Almansa, built on top a very small hill, dominates far horizons all around, since that hill is the only height on the plains around for more than 30 miles.Originally muslim -the donjon tower still features its caliphal windows- it was restored and converted in a feudal sign of wealth and power by the mighty Marquis of Villena, in 15th. luisarguelles 0 Posted February 20, 2005 Yuxtaposicion dificil por el tipo de arquitectura. Llama la atencion precisamente por ese contraste. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted February 21, 2005 I like the foreground light and shadow and the ascending levels of the picture. Link to comment
marielou_dhumez 1 Posted February 21, 2005 C'etait vraiment a ce moment-la qu'il fallait faire cette magnifique photo ou tout est un superbe jeu d'ombres et de lumiere ! Bravo Alberto! Link to comment
charodiez 0 Posted February 22, 2005 Pues a mi me gusta por como se unen todas las sombras en un punto que nos guia al castillo. Creo que podia ser arriesgado ese primer plano, pero la verdad es que queda genial. Link to comment
orensztajn 0 Posted June 9, 2005 Las sombras le han dado ese toque especial que esta foto tiene. Muy buena foto Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Yes - I'm definitely a morning person. I had been up reading for a while before coming online this morning ... so your comment caught me up already for a while. :-) I guess that I missed these two shots that you've pointed me out to. But for some reason, the castle on top of the high rock hill isn't as dramatic in this (or the other, B&W version) as the newest version. I really like that one much better. Warmest regards! alberto.conde 0 Posted September 16, 2006 This photo is about the play of shadows coming out of the castle and those serf's houses below. Sort of a socio-political statement if I may... Link to comment
