macgregor_anderson 0 Posted February 20, 2005 Great shot. The hard work is done. Framing, compostion, all that. Perfect. I appreciate the focus, the movement. This needs a lot less blown out white background, and a little more contrast. Some burning and dodging. Cool transitional tones in the faces, and maybe some punch, and less of that washed out background. My eye is drawn away from the great capture. Change that. I'm not skilled enough in Photoshop or the darkroom to tell you how to do it. I just think it's an image that deserves some attention. I bet you won't print this to your satisfaction for five years and maybe ten. It's that good a shot. Mac (no rating given, too confusing, but maybe a five for Aesthetics leaning towards a four, and a seven for Originality, but not 'cause it's strikingly unusual. Because it tells a story well.)
