andre_mcnichols 0 Posted February 20, 2005 My only complaint is that the male's head is not bright enough for my taste. A bit of fill flash maybe? Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted February 20, 2005 Andre, the dark drake's head was the first thing I noticed and wished I had opened up a stop. I need to make a little effort in PS to lighten it up. Link to comment
giorgio cecca 0 Posted February 25, 2005 one more stop... and maybe it could have been better. But it's ok, beautyful reflections! Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted March 23, 2005 So, you're back! I saw your comment come in right behind mine on Colin's spring picture. Love this, Water Woman. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted March 23, 2005 Back from Oz! Looking forward to seeing what you pointed the camera at. The detail in the drake's head is there so a little bit of PS comes up with the above. I find digital is very like slide film in that underexposure is not too bad while overexposure is bad, bad, bad. The ripples and flower reflections are very good here. Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted March 24, 2005 Lannie and Colin, it's nice to be back but I never get tired of Australia - such a beautiful country. I whizzed my way through 9 rolls of slide film so I'm anxiously waiting for the results. Digital has made me lazy, but it's a whole lot cheaper. It was a good backup. Thanks for the PS work Colin, it's a great improvement. It's been almost a year since I shot this and I plan to go back to see if I can expose that drake's head a bit better. Link to comment
