aneely 0 Posted February 20, 2005 Hi Tiffany, I like the shot but find the left to be distracting. I've taken the liberty to do a little adjusting - cropped, contrast increased and sharpened a bit. Great capture of a familiar Seattle street scene (street musicians). Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted February 20, 2005 thanks Alex...I agree...and disagree. I think aesthetically speaking, you are right. However, I think the full frame creates a better story. Street photography is not one of my strengths, but the street images that I like, are ones that are strong on story and may or may not be strong compositionally. I have always been envious of the bravery, skill and timing exhibited by a good candid street photographer. I would like to strengthen this skill and I very much appreciate you taking the time to stop, comment and edit. Link to comment
aneely 0 Posted February 21, 2005 I see your point...there is a larger story in the full frame. I tend to look for the essence of a scene. For instance, in this New Orleans street shot, I saw these two as a stronger story than the shots of their whole band...here's to different view points! Link to comment
