alberto.conde 0 Posted February 18, 2005 This railroad goes into Andalusia along an old mining track. It is not the main one to the South of Spain and, in fact, is the less travelled one. If you ionsist on visiting the place you have to drive off the beaten roads and venture into lands that are usually travelled, only, by the localsThe place is called Chillón, located in the southwestern border of Castille with Extremadura (actually, Ciudad Real and Badajoz)The pity was that this shot was the last one of the roll and when I had plied down my gear (tripod, etc) and was on my way back to my car, an old steam train came puffing up loads of smoke... What an oportunity missed! Link to comment
carlos_castillejos 0 Posted February 18, 2005 Railroads have always a mystic feeling, in this one I specially like how it appears from the corner instead of totally centered. Link to comment
paolonigris 0 Posted February 18, 2005 I like the global tonality very much. Great picture Link to comment
salvattore 0 Posted February 18, 2005 i like the colours very much... are they very different from the original ones? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 18, 2005 Thanks for the background of the place. Beautifully composed shot. Colors are rich and balanced. Even though the light seems hard still the exposure is excellent with good tonal range and well preserved colors. Kind regards. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted February 19, 2005 Pity about the steam engine. Now if you had been using digital.....(ok let us leave that argument!). You have caught the air of quiet anticipation that seems to hang around little used railway lines. I like the loading gauge with no track! Link to comment

charodiez 0 Posted April 18, 2005 Me gusta ese cartel roto (o restos de lo que sea) de la derecha, es lo que le da mas el sentido de abandono... Link to comment
