manel_soria 0 Posted February 18, 2005 Excellent composition, for some people the dark background is ugly but not so much for me. Belive me I know how difficult these photos are ! At first I thougt it was underexposed, but then I saw the brilliant "nose", so I think you can't correct it, unless you use the "shadow/light" menu in PS CS, or in Nikon capture software or something similar. As a user of "top gun" equipment, why do you use the 105 and not the 200 micro ? Link to comment
jerry ting 1 Posted February 18, 2005 Manel, good question. The reason is because I don't have the Micro-Nikkor 200mm/f4 AFD yet. I have read reviews about this lens and it suppose to be a really good one. Link to comment
manel_soria 0 Posted February 18, 2005 Now I am surprised ! I would suggest you to try the sigma 180 before buying the micro 200 (that I don't have yet, but I tried it). See the photos by Rafael Estevez, brilliant Spanish enthomologist. Most of them are done with D70+Sigma 180. It is almost as good as the micro nikkor 60. Link to comment
