ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted February 16, 2005 Very tight crop chosen to due a great deal of clutter in background. Your comments appreciated Link to comment
jongaus 0 Posted February 16, 2005 A good picture. What about a little more cropping, to increase the visual tension? See attached suggestion. Link to comment
jon_nally 0 Posted February 16, 2005 I don't think Jon's crop goes far enough. There is still an empty corner at top left. A square format allows us to anchor all four corners with a touch of red. Cutting the propeller hub into the top right corner, is something you deliberately avoided in your original image, imo. Link to comment

detlef 6 Posted February 27, 2005 good composition! I really like the reflection in the centre to give us a view of a whole plane Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted March 1, 2005 I've watched this shot a couple of times before and each time I had problems to write a good and useful comment. Technical objects, like cars and planes are not the things I know very much about. I have more feeling with living things. But however, I like this shot from the beginning because of the nice reflection in the propeller, which shows what is happening in the workplace. As far as I can see people are busy to dismantle a plane. An interesting impression of what they are doing there, framed through nice repaired silvercoloured machineparts. I like the colourcombination in this shot. Red adds power. Best Regards, Ada:) Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted March 20, 2005 I don't know which is the most interesting crop, Ken, but it's a very unique shot. The engine has a very powerful look, quite apart from reflections, etc. Link to comment
tbonemah 0 Posted June 21, 2006 I can't stop trying to locate the photographer in the reflection. Where are you? Link to comment
