I love that light, goes well with the title! I spent some time shifting between this image and the previous one. I have a greater feeling of space with this one, in part because of the light on the left side which gives more depth than the landscape of the other image, and in part because you left more sky on this one.

I see both images as being in the morning when the sun has come over the horizon. In Creation 1 the lady seems to be facing the sunrise (east) with the sun in her face. In Creation 2, she seems to be facing North with the sun rising to her right. I prefer her facing the sunrise (Creation 1) and I also like the break in the land in Creation 2 (more sky). Maybe darken the sky a tad where you removed the land. I think that this would give the impression that she had the warm sun in her face. No matter, it is still a beautiful work of art even if you didn't make any more changes. Love to see your work. Thanks.

Aesthetically or technically aesthetically the first is better I think, but for your subject the warmth in this gives a more 'womb' feeling...more in tune with the subject in that respect. Lovely image!

Great new meaning to the term "Birth of a New Day." Beautiful image and great piece of art. If this were a painting I'm sure people would be debating up and down about the meaning, depth and intention that you, the artist had here.

Terrific light, composition, reflection, and idea! However, my eyes keep on wanting to move to that top right area where the branches and clouds can use a bit more cleaning up (after stamp tool?) Still, wonderful, Lissa. ^_^

Beautiful photo as usual Lissa. I prefer this version to the first one. In the first version the mother-to-be blends into the landscape. With this one, the sun rise of the left highlights her and really makes her standout in the photo.

Lissa, fantastic image again. ai must say I prefer the hues of the original but like the crop of this better.

IMHO if the subject had stepped down a ledge and you'd lowered the angle to keep her head abreak of the horizon this would have solved the reflection problem - although a lower angle would mean a shorter reflection, mmmm.

trees on far right still move my eye but i'm sure you've tried removing them.

Regards

Paul
