massimo_ruggiero 0 Posted February 15, 2005 I know you feel something but it is really suttle. Texture nice, but what else? Link to comment
jenna_g 0 Posted February 16, 2005 I like the soft, muted colors here. Nice choice of DOF gives this an isolated feel. Link to comment
dberryhill 3 Posted February 18, 2005 Massimo, the family farm as a way of life is dying in America, and with it is going a sense of place. The roots of people's lives are being pulled up and scattered along interstate highways. Mike is recording that rural way of life, and, as you noted, he's doing it with honest sensitivity. A rain gauge is important to those whose welfare is tied the whims of nature. The meaning of this picture would not be lost upon those who know their fate depends in great part on the measurements in that small can. That's the "what else". Link to comment
