This is how a creative imagination works. No, this is how a master photographer works. How about the technical aspects of the image? Well, only a master photographer with a creative imagation who is in control of his medium could have made this image. Oh boy, you said that right.

Just an FYI- The female form in this image is not a rendered image. She was captured in the studio on color transparency film and converted to Black and White digitally. There is obviously some use of PhotoShop and two 3-D rendering programs, but none-the-less the ultimate decision to composite and make use of some photographic elements with generated elements is all mine. I have always maintained that these images within this particular category are not 100% pure photographic images. It has never been my intention to assert that they are. These images represent a blending of the newer digital technology's and the older silver-based systems and I think the end justifies the means in terms of the resulting art, don't you?

I have included the original source image which contributed part of the inspiration for this piece. Original inspiration for this piece from the song; "San Jacinto," by Peter Gabriel. "I hold the light."

Interesting work. I have been working with composites lately, too, and it's great to combine photography with imagination.
