A very nice shot. I know this place well; great place to photograph, getting the correct lighting can be a problem with the high canyon walls. I suggest playing with the saturation and contrast, with (maybe) a little dodging and burning.

This is an excellent photo - would you mind to share with us the scanning technique and equipment used? Is this an actual scan from the slide? What kind of scanner do you use?

I used a Canon FS4000 and Vuescan scanning software to scan the slide. I usually use white balance setting on Vuescan which gives the most accurate colors. Hope this helps. I saw some of your pictures. They are great.

Majestic view. But the large version shows quite a bit of noise though.
