Piha Sand

The highpoints of this photo, to me, are the area around the people - it has a lot of detail and aerial perspective. Also the detailed area in the foreground. There is a high amount of contrast in this image. I might have used a half-graduated filter to tame it a little, or shot brackets and blended them through masking in ps to obtain more detail in highlights and shadows. I would clone out the two little white dots of lens flare in the right foreground. Good positioning of the highly interesting horizon, compositionally. Hope this is of use.
