I love this too. The boys' expression are so engrossing, showing us their enthusiam in what they are doing. Image is crisply sharp & contrast is wonderful.

I think you nailed this one, Howard. Very good contrast and detail, as already mentioned. Having four sons, this brings back memories of winters in Canada.

Howard- the composition is super! Because of the complication of the image with a lot going on, I like your choice of high contrast. I think it helps the viewer put attention to the faces and not all the other little details. Nice choice, it works beautifully.
