After looking at both versions, I think this one is just right. As much as those funny tights catch the eye, the guard rail is key to the composition, as it maintains the sense of forward motion.

This is perfect, Howard. All the attention goes to the man and stays there. Like I said before, I bet he is quite the character from the front, too. I can't imagine wearing pants like that even if I could! :)

Howard- Sorry to say I didn't see the first post. I love the composition and I really like the way the fence and the top edges of the image fade to white. The lighting is super and the attention to the "Fancy Pants" is perfect. You captued his image right at the right second. Super!

Man, I'd hate to run into this guy going the other way. Looks like a locomotive from behind. Nice detail in your characteristic style.

Ken, this is what you'll probably see . . . ^_^ Howard, I do like the high contrast, the composition, and the erased out area that together make for a pleasing, drawing-like effect. Verdict: Very, very good. ^_^

hey, when did you get the tamron? this is interesting, cuz of the composition and something about textures -- with his pants providing some of that in a humorous way. very nice job.
