afterthoughts 0 Posted February 11, 2005 This is one of the best city scapes I have seen in a long time. I especially like the sun's reflection in the windows. Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted February 11, 2005 Ken, terrific cityscape indeed! I like the reflection off of buildings, the clean mid-tone sky, and all the details. Compositionally, would you consider cropping off the right a bit so the main building isn't centered in the frame? BTW, those 2 distant towers really resemble WTC twin towers and to me, that's the best part about this image! ^_^ Link to comment
ellie designs 0 Posted February 11, 2005 Great capture, and very little snow up here. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted February 12, 2005 Great light, Ken, and the snow brings up the contrast well. I prefer the original crop with the long view to the right of the tower. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted February 12, 2005 Tact sharp Ken. Love the dusk reflections on the skyscrapers. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted February 12, 2005 One of the best city skylines I've seen in a long time! I love the levels of different colors/brightnesses because of the level of the sun in the sky. Wonderful!!!! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted February 13, 2005 This is one cityscape that works very well. Nice lighting, colors, tones and perspective. Well done, Ken. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted February 13, 2005 Ken- just catching up! What really catches my eyes, besides the super composition and the reflection of the sunset or rise (and is that the Statue of Liberty in the reflection?) is the violet cast to the snow in contrast with the yellow of the lights. Makes the whole city seem to "vibrate". I really like that! I believe I wouldn't change a thing! Link to comment

tony bell 0 Posted February 14, 2005 Wonderful colors, an ever so interesting subject. I don't care for the crop offered above. Why crowd things? Excellent exposure. City-scapes don't get any better than this IMO. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 14, 2005 Wonderful composition and colors. Mood is great so is the exposure. I personally prefer the un-cropped version. Kind regards. Link to comment
