rogerphoto 0 Posted February 10, 2005 Great tones. The tree in the foreground defenetly works to improve this shot. 7/6 Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted February 10, 2005 Nice work Jerry, the bright leaves against the falls looks great. Only one complaint, I think the shutter speed was TOO slow, took all of the motion and power out of the water. 7/6 Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 11, 2005 I disagree with Jim most respectivly...disk should be dreamy...dusk...to dream. 7.7 Link to comment
jim kerr 0 Posted February 11, 2005 I say you have a great photo, regardless of your shutter speed....Jim Link to comment
c brake 0 Posted February 11, 2005 This is really beautiful and I think you nailed the shutter speed perfectly. Most of the water falls with motion blur have either too slow or two fast of a shutter speed, but this is right on. I like that I can see through the left portion of the waterfall, it almost looks like a mist rather than a fall. Link to comment
lance_cayko 0 Posted February 11, 2005 how did you get the water to look like that? PS effect? Link to comment
jerry ting 1 Posted February 11, 2005 Richard, Rogerio, Jim McConnell, Paul, Jim Kerr, C Brake and Lance for stopping by. Lance, the silky dreamy effect is original and not done in PS. I think the aperture was set at f22 with shutter speed of 1/4 and a PL filter when I took this shot. Link to comment
donnaalbers 0 Posted February 11, 2005 I like the light airy feeling of the falls complemented by the delicately arching branches. Link to comment
