This a great shot! A man this age in a Scout uniform is a man with a purpose...a calling. He's made his life count by giving something back. This kind of shot makes us all think a little more about something, or someone, besides ourselves. Well done!

They should make glare-less glasses. Even with that minor distraction, I like this candid shot. Once a boy scout, always a boy scout, I think. Ed was an Eagle Scout and he cherishes all his memories of that time in his life.

howard, i like the composition a lot and the subject and the crop around the hat, but his face is so interesting that i wish it were lit up. also, it has a look of a little too much photoshop. lots of times that works, but this guy, his face really calls out for a very natural, more lit up shot.

Another wonderful Dion portrait! Perfect DOF and perfect crop. What lens did you use Howard? I usually prefer your Hi-key portraits, but in this case the color has it! Kim mentioned the glass reflection, at first I found it distracting, but after looking for a while, I think it adds depth, especially since the focal point is on this eye. Well done!
