alecee 0 Posted February 5, 2005 This restaurant in Shoreline Village at LOng Beach LA still holds fond memories for me. The lighthouse at the background no longer changes color at night now. Can't imamgine why. The clouds near the top of the light-house gives it the effect of a chimney from a distance. Just managed to catch this unusual sight. Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted February 5, 2005 Alec, You have avoided a common mistake most photographers make when taking a photo after dark, that is, waiting until there is no light in the sky to balance the light of the subject. Nice balance here. A fine composition with tourism appeal proven by Mike's comment that he'd now like to see this place. The cloud behind the lighthouse could be mistaken for smoke coming out of it.
