robertbrown 1 Posted February 2, 2005 Comments, ratings appreciated. Taken at the edge of a clearcut. Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted February 24, 2005 An interesting shot. The bare trees, the exposed trunks with no branches, do tell the story of a clearcut once they are rationalised in comparison with the dark shadows on the back. The inclusion in such a prominent place of that broken and almost rotten dead tree, though, gives a real drama to the image. I truly like it. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted February 25, 2005 Thanks, everyone, for your comments. Salvatore, this was taken at the edge of a clearcut (I'm sure they'll be back at it this summer) and the tree was broken obviously years ago by wind or lightning, though symbolically it works with the rest of the series.
