Richard, great picture to show all these different colors and shapes of melons. Did you add those light green shadows or it's just caused by the effect you added?

Hi Richard, Good composition with a very pleasing painted style finnish. Using the canvas background adds well to the effect.Rated 7/6. I have not mastered photo to painting yet but please check out my photo to coloured pencil drawings in my "Motorcycles plus" folder.

Terrific work, and wonderful attention to setup detail re composition and positioning of objects in relation to one another. Painted effect is entirely congruous with this still life.

I hadn't seen this one before, but it's very good, Richard. As you know, I've been playing with painting software and it's fun!

I just came across this photo in your portfolio. I like it a lot - if it were against a black background it really would look like a dutch master painting!

Very artistic indeed.  Colourfull and eye pleasing. The textured background fits nicely in my opinion. Composition is  very good with more space on top giving a heavier base. Well done. Excellent!!!!!

This is the first time for me to know that you are into still life also, touch wood.

Great way of setting all of that in such a magnificent order and exposing it with this outstanding light quality and maintaining all of that impressive details and colors.

The usual high skill rules your work and command the viewers to pay your posts here all of the respect.

Thank you my fiend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.
