Is this really a night shot? I've never seen a hummingbird at night. Maybe I should look harder. Terrific capture, congrats!

I think your photo is great! I do hummers as well, you have a great all black back ground. Do I see some high flash or is it natural lighting?

You have captured this little bird with the touch of a true artist. Very nice composition.

I like this exccept for the background. Although uncluttered - big plus - the backgrounds looks rather artificial, which hurts the overall feel of the shot. Very nice tho'. Cheers!

Great lighting control. Since we are all speculating, I'm going to guess at least two off camera flashes, and ambient light exposure compensation at -2 to -3 to create the dark BG.
