WIthout the double lens flare, I feel like this photo would be merely pretty and not nearly as engaging. I took me a second to realise that, of course, lens flare above the water would be likely to give lens flare in the reflection as well... that second to understand what was happening and my admiration for catching the flares 'just so' around the tree raises this photo into something much more interesting and original.

The lens flare actually adds a nice touch, particularly because of the reflection also causing one. Great composition and DOF, plus interesting subject matter, actually manages to make up for some rather harsh light.
