Sodros - is an armlet of the Danube river close to Novi Sad. Around

this armlet we sometimes ride our bikes. (We recommend this place to

anyone who is not too sensitive to real natural environment.)

I really love snow/ice pictures, but I have little chance to take one here: last time we had snow was in 1954... So maybe that's the reason I'm so interested in these white pictures.

 

Here the subject is vey nice and the composition is, well, Canon-ical

The contrast of whites and reds, as well as the incongrous subject make it for a very interesting picture.

 

The question is: do you really need the red structure to the left? It generates some tension in the shot and attracts a bit too much attention, doesn't it?

I like the tension added by the piece at left. It also adds a bit of a balance. I don't understand how someone gave this 3/4

Excellent shot. I really like the composition, it almost look like abstract. You need to look closely to realise that there is a boat covered with ice. Well done!
