I would crop the roofs of the buildings in the bottom of the photo but otherwise, I like this a lot. Also, I'm not sure about the inner white border as it merge too much with the sky and make looks the two tall buildings a little strange.

This one was made from the comfy environs of our room on the 50th floor of the Rhiga Royal. Just sat there watching the blizzard roll in. Gave me a chance to use my new tripod. Was great fun.

Stephane got an interesting point about the white border, but then again, if it's black, it'll merge with the black building, no? Okay, throw me a winter coat and just leave me in the room, bb b br rrrr..rrrr. ^_^

Ken- We just missed the snow here! Yeah! Finally something good about the weather in KY. Don't know if you are home yet, but it's raining right now and we are awaiting the freeze, so we can enjoy the freezing rain AGAIN! Waiting for the lights to go out! Typing fast!

Anyway.......I like the perspective on this, really adds depth. What a wonderful view of the blizzard of 05. I'm hoping they were pretty well prepared for this one and it did not disrupt any of your activities while in NYC. Amazing how fast they can remove all that snow up North.

A fine shot, Ken, and the crop you have is fine. For the frame I would suggest something like what you have but add a fine black line around the inside of the white band.

Ken, looks like a photo made 30 years ago. Great line perspective and exposure control. Everybody can making photos of building and their environment, but few are able to let them look beautiful. You certainly did here. 7/7

Hi Ken! Finally catching up on some old e-mail and photos. I like this ... you've really caught the sense of the way that the mists during precipitation in a city are different at different altitudes. :-)
