although I am going to nit pick... sorry... :) I would not have used a black bow...

The contrast of it is very nice against the skin and background. Just not a color that I think God would have picked to deliever such a joy in. IMHO... but that is just me.

Once again, congrats on the addition to your family. Adoption is so wonderful. Im a mother to two adopted girls and one birth daughter. It really is a gift from God!

I do understand you are only happy! Maybe I am sometime a too serious person, but my first reaction for this was, that someone is materializing a little baby, wrapping him like that. The writing in card doesn't help. I think the baby only, with the subject below it, had been enough, telling your feelings. Of course "materializing" is happening all the time...For me this was too bad taste. But as you can see from comments so far: it's only me :)

i feel the photographer has just tried to convey a feeling of happiness and thankfulness to God for giving him the honour to raise the child .

here the idea from the photographer's mind should be considered rather going into the literal meaning of the shot.

Lovely image and congratulations to you, but I wonder how you feel about this image being used in spam emails trying to raise money for an apparently sick baby? I recently received such an email with this image on, and remembered where I had seen it. If you aren't aware of the mis-use, then let me know and I'll forward a copy to you.
