I like this because the guy with the ball is just a little blurred....and the smile is great! Too bad we all can't play and get along like this!

I commented last night, but can't tell a whole lot of difference. Must have been very minor tone and tilt. Looks Great, Howard. Spontaneous, fun, and another great people capture.

 

BTW, congrats on the Eagles making it to the Big Dance. Bet you were in front of the tube for most of Sunday. ^_^

I don't know how you do it Howard, but it is so well captured. very detailed, and I realy like the sepia here.I think it will be good as a poster in sports stores!

Looks nice and friendly.. One thing grabbed my eye. This must be the only basketball photo I ever saw where the white guy is the tallest basketball player.. :) Original...

You have nicely captured the mood. But why have you used sepia tone? Just like to know.

The color image had nothing. It was boring. I tried B&W that was better but too cold. I found that the Sepia warmed the image enhancing the friendship among the players. In my Sepia formula I increase red and decrease blue. This brought out more details in the contrast of tones.

Howard, I liked this before and I like it even better now. Seems to have more of a friendly feel to it. Love the title! :)

Hi Howard! I am finally catching up on e-mail and photos. I like this ... neighborhood game. :-) I have a question about the background, though. It looks like, just around the heads of a couple of the guys (the one standing farthest to the right and the tall (white) guy) that they have been pasted onto the background or something. Am I right? What did you do with this shot besides the tones? (The tones, by the way, are gorgeous!!) Nice work!!

I made no changes to the background. Just adjusted Sepia tones, contrast, brightness, and sharpness.
