Joao, Sircar, Pnina, thanks for coming by. I like the clean details and colors from the Sigma Apo lens and highly recommend it. NOtice the fine cobwebs on the stalk. It is one of of the few in 70-300 range to have Macro facility and still provide high quality images comparable to the top brands.

Alec, this one caught my eyes. I guess it's the colour of the main subject (the dragonfly) which stands out so nicely. Artistically and technically superb. Great composition, great sharpness of the main subjects and the pleasing dof. Thanks for the tip about the lens (the combination of telephoto and macro is indeed tempting).

Alec, another good dragonfly picture. Very unique composition but it works for me. Also like the bright green vs red color compensation.

This one turned out very nice Alec. great details in the wing. there is even some spider-silk visilbe on top of that plant
