This is lovely and very clever how you caught the three gliders diagonally across the frame. The pleasant green tones and the light and shadow falling on the hillsiade make this a wonderful shot.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I was very lucky to get these 3 gliders into the picture. Mount Diablo is a very popular place for this kind of activity.

The converging lines formed by the three gliders and the edge of the green field at the top make this a compositionally intriguing image. The path on the hill adds a very nice curve to the picture. What caught my eyes first though, is the small red spot on the highest glider (which is nicely positioned right above the tip of the converging lines). As the Chinese poem goes: a red spot stands out from thousands of green (something like that). You've made an otherwise ordinary country scene (for a person who lives in Switzerland at least) somewhat extraordinary. Congrats!

Thanks for the detailed commentaries and rates on this photo. I am so envy of you because I know how beautiful Switzerland is and you have all the privileges to see it all. Time for you to get out, take some shots and should us more :)

Jerry is there anything you HAVEN'T shot? Even without the gliders this is a great landscape. Love that winding road in this. Keep wondering the odds of getting this perfect line of chutes...amazing. 7/7

Very pleasant shot.

The three gliders in a line are incredibly disposed in a diagonal creating a triangle with the shape of the field lighted by the sun.

All this line aiming to the first glide with a red colour in perfect contrast with the green of the whole picture.
