Howard, I like the cool (and creepy) monochromic color on this. Very appropriate treatment on the subject matter. Hope you stay warm in Philly (heard about the severely frigid weather system hitting eastcoast.) Well, at least you can catch the Eagles on the tube, and follow by the Steelers tonight. Can't say that about the Seachickens here. ^_^

Deliciously busy. I'd try other tints just to see, but overall it's very good. There's a sense of depth I like.

I love this one. Very much like an abstract painting. You really have the eyes. Maybe you'll create an abstract folder later? Enjoyed your excellent portfolio too. Will have to come back later.

I like these shapes in the trees.A good capture of twisted branches in side light. You may like to see the figures in the trees I have captured.

Wonderfully scary! Glad the storm missed us! Sitting here now, listening to rain falling, waiting for it to turn to ice AGAIN! What a winter this has been! One for the books!

What a gnarly tree you have. I love the light and shadow of the snow, tree and sky. The over all composition is really super! Some of my best images are in my own backyard!

Howard,

this trancends my love for trees....very Sleepy Hollow-ish. Is that the natural detail and curvature of the tree? What kind is it? It seems to me all tangled up in grape vines or bittersweet. I love the gnarly ones! Definitely full of character but the blue really adds a great touch!

Wish I had more time to keep up with your work. As it is I feel myself finding these treats long after they have been posted. That, and it takes forever for your portfolio to load on my computer! Patience truly is a virtue! But as usual worth waiting for! Beautiful work as always! - sarah
