aepelbacher 0 Posted January 22, 2005 What a wonderful shot! This really captures all of the busy-ness and light/dark aspects of the city. I also love all of the windows, different sizes, distances, some lit, some not ... great shot!! Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 22, 2005 A "pointilist" image Ken, very nicely conveys the city. good choice of B/W. Pnina Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted January 22, 2005 Sitting here in our hotel room watching Manhattan fill up with snow. Decided to stay in NYC and see what a real snow storm is like. Expecting 12 inches and will probably be a day late getting back home. Oh well! Thanks for your comments. New York City is such an exciting place. Hopefully, I can post a followup New York Blanch image. Link to comment

WJT 627 Posted January 24, 2005 This has a nice "Up Town" look about it. I especially like the inclusion of the long vertical slice of building on the right; almost like film sprockets. An enjoyable photograph Ken. Regards. Link to comment

wilsontsoi 0 Posted January 24, 2005 The right, definitely establish the forground, while the bridge takes care of the background. Nice depth, Ken. BTW, how in the world did you get stuck in the Big Apple?! ^_^ Link to comment

home page1 0 Posted January 25, 2005 That's the chance you take when you travel to nothern climates in the winter. When weather conditions are bad, you either take a chance on spending the night in the airport or just stay put in the comfy environs of your current residence. We chose the latter and didn't mind extending our mini vacation in NYC. Gave me an opportunity of trying to take blizard condition images. Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted January 25, 2005 Extraordinary shot. I really like the building on the right. I think it holds the composition together. Well done. Link to comment
