within 0 Posted January 22, 2005 Tomaso Well this is 6/7 picture from me great stuff but would be 7/7 if you turn down the contrast as the colour in the sky is braking up. alittle more work and it will be a winner. Link to comment
tithira 0 Posted January 23, 2005 Excellent shot! edit- about the rating; the dust in the midground gives tips a somewhat good photograph into being excellent in my opinion, in terms of aesthetics (plus I like the exposure). Compositionaly though, it didn't Strike me as being exceptionally unusual. Having said that, the rating I gave for originality is at least one below what it should have been (I can't change it can I?). I don't think that aesthetics and originality are *entirely* mutualy-unexclusive. Or perhaps I'm wrong. Just opinion. Link to comment

anish 0 Posted January 24, 2005 I love the geometrical arrangement! This is obviously a landscape shot, but i think it is quite effective as an abstract. Great use of shapes and lines, and great vision! -Anish Link to comment

jvophotography 0 Posted February 16, 2005 Love it! Great shot! I see we use the same camera. Aren't they great? Excellent shot. I will be checking out more of your stuff. Thanks for stopping in and taking the time to comment. Link to comment
marius barbulescu 0 Posted February 21, 2005 7/7 Really like it (not because of the incident). I'll go through more of them these days. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted March 26, 2005 This is very nice. I feel the tree at the back positionned a bit more to the right (which could be achieved by simply stepping to your right) would have given a better balance to the composition. On the other hand, I am not sure if the picture would be equally interesting, if this tree was away from the front tree... Tough case.Second issue: are the colors original, or have you somehow pushed the yellow one way or another...? I feel this picture would be more effective with "quieter" colors or even in black and white. Still, one of my favorites in this folder. Regards. Link to comment
