Alec, An original view that poses more questions than answers. Now that you are on top the tricky part is getting down again:) Do you get to take the elevator or must you get down the same way you got up? Are there any sellers of resin (for your grip) down there? Any paramedics? Psychiatrists? Sellers of life insurance? Looks like fun! Best, LM.

Thanks for commenting guys. These are the final steps to reach the top of Angkor Wat. It's really scary and definitely not for the weak and those who have a fear of heights. SArah, you're right to say that soon tourists will not be allowed to climb up as the steps are really worn down through the centuries. Len, there is only a small hand-rail for going down and it's frightening. Paramedics? We'll be lucky to get someone selling plasters there. Believe me!
