I really like this and I think the yellow sets it off but I do think you could tone it down a bit.

6/6 (the border that is) I see that your frame is bringing your ratings down so I have taken the liberty of helping you out with your frame selection. what I normally do is select my frame colors from colors out of the picture itself so here you go "Cheers" Sue Clapsadle

Alec nice reflective work. I won't reiterate my thoughts on the yellow but I give you top marks for having the courage to try it out anyway good friend.

the crooked house reflected gives the house its dignity and stubborn resistence. Really well done. Forgetting the yellow border ( disturbing), this is 6/6

Well, Well, Well, thanks Sue for your suggested border. It's strange that fellow PN members are disturbed by the yellow border which is so common on front page cover of all National Geographic magazines. Since these are documentary shots of ancient Angkor Wat I thought of using the NG borders. Anyone else care to comment on the borders? Does it really bother you?

I hadn't thought of the NG connotation. Maybe if the shot were in portrait orientation, and the yellow was a little greener.

Craig, I subscribe to NG monthly and I assure you it is only a plain yellow border, perhaps with a little white line before the yellow. But you are right about the upright protrait position. I did that too for the "March of Time" submission and still got shot down. (:<) Oh Well! Ain't anyone cool here? LOL!

What was I thinking I think maybe I should change my borders to this NG format as I would give my right arm to be on their cover, now, of course I did not recognize the color and I feel like a big heel so you just keep using it and I should too!
