alexforsythe 0 Posted January 21, 2005 but what is "the Anselizer" and where can I get it ;) Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted January 22, 2005 I think I got the idea out of a Scott Kelby book. Basically, what you do is to open a Channel Mixer Adjustment Layer in PS. Set the Red channel to 200%. Set the Green to about -30% and the Blue to about -70%. (Total should be 100%) This gives you the dramatic contrast and "Ansel Adams" skies. Link to comment
alexforsythe 0 Posted January 22, 2005 I love the look of the technique .. can't wait to try it myself. Thanks Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 22, 2005 it looks like a mix of Ansel Adams and Paul Strand's technique. Link to comment

dennisdixson 0 Posted November 12, 2005 I read about that technique in Scott's book as well. I think you put it to good use here. Farm structures are a classic subject for black & white photography. I like the geometry of this one. Link to comment
coolkif 0 Posted July 5, 2006 Wow, the contrast is quite powerful! Like it a lot. Thanks! Link to comment
an.deceuninck 0 Posted September 11, 2006 Hi, this photo stays on my mind since three days, composition is very interesting because the house is not really in the middle, the v--thing on the middle of the roof(sorry for my English) seems longer because of the shadows, but the white cloud on the left pulls everything in balance . i like this work i will quick look for the other onces kind regards, An Link to comment

katzpjs 50 Posted December 26, 2008 In this shot I mostly like the different heights of the missing boards, that is what makes the shot. The bright light, strong contract and dark skies are the icing on the shot. Link to comment
