novastorm 0 Posted January 20, 2005 I really like this Sondra. Your little friend looks as if he's listening intently to something or maybe someone ;). Great focus on the subject and the soft background is easy on the eyes. Cheers Nova :) 6/6 Link to comment

sondra kick 0 Posted January 22, 2005 CHiPs, I am enjoying my Canon 20D. My husband researched the different cameras and felt this one was best for me. I like my C8080, but I wanted a more professional camera. This is so much easier to learn than the C8080, and the photos are great. Cheers, Sondra Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted January 22, 2005 Good shot, Sondra! What focal length did you use for this? Link to comment
david robinson 0 Posted January 22, 2005 Sondra, that lens puts you in the action. Well done Sondra. Sondra when you get a chance I would like to hear more of your experience in using your IR filter with this camera. You seemed to suggest that there was some difficulty or challenge. Thanks... sondra kick 0 Posted January 23, 2005 David, if and when the weather clears I want to do some more IR work with my 20D. If things go well you will see the photo on PN. Cheers, Sondra Link to comment
sondra kick 0 Posted January 23, 2005 Colin, my focal length was at 300mm and then I had to crop to get the bird a good size. I was only 20 ft away from the critter. Guess I was expecting more. I will keep working with this new lens and see what it will do for me. Cheers, Sondra Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted January 23, 2005 Thanks Sondra. I keep thinking about trying this sort of shot. But so far when faced with the terrible choice of which lens to buy next my hand automatically reaches for the wide angle. Link to comment
harry eggens 0 Posted January 23, 2005 ....Bird image Sondra. Very good DOF and nice soft background colors. The twig above the Bluejay's head is a bit distracting thuogh, but nevertheless a beauty. Thanks for your comment on my ice speedway image Sondra, I did stand on the public stands....Kind regards, Harry Link to comment
