jay weston 0 Posted January 19, 2005 Was playing around with long exposures last night and this was pretty much the only one I got from over 100 shots and an hour of shooting. Very hit and miss when you cant use bulb! Link to comment
kt_beth 0 Posted January 19, 2005 I think the angle of the shot makes it particularly interesting. Excellent use of contrast and form! Link to comment

r_e 0 Posted January 20, 2005 CR: Well, the addition of different kinds of things and an alienation effect by the angles make this picture outstanding! REgards Link to comment
donald_l_fackler_jr 0 Posted January 20, 2005 I like the use of the window as a frame for this shot. It creates an interesting angle to view the lightning. To me the use of the wires help to keep the photo from being static as I want to keep moveing within the photo. I think it is an impressive shot and one I enjoy looking at. Was the sky that color or is it an effect from postprocessing? I have seen some really strange color skies here. From Green to Black. The Green ones scare me as that means we are in for a big blow! jay weston 0 Posted January 21, 2005 Thanks guys, Donald - The sky colour is fairly accurate, though I honestly have no idea how to evaluate white balance for a night shot. The only editing that was done to the image was a crop and levels to kill the small amount of detail still left in the window frame. Link to comment
