Canal Reflections,Venice Italy

I don't like the idea of cropping in photoshop, but i must say the composition is just great. Although the horizon doesn't seem to be straight. I really like the photo.

I don't understand why you haven't yet any ratings... This image is so good...

 

Outstanding work and fantastic photo.

Image seems to be very compressed and at the same time it is very spacious.

So much depth in this image, not only in the background, but including the reflection in the water, which adds vertically and horizonatally, too. I hope to someday make images this good.

very strong pictures in this folio, much stronger than the ones in your other folio that is less my taste, I think that there is alack of simplicity in the other folio that makes that the picture are loosing their force.

So dark on my screen otherwise I'd rate it much stronger...looks to be very good.

Beautiful colours even though you enhanced them.. I like the idea of getting more land than sky to capture the reflections, but I do think the horizon isn't quite straight.. although it might be just because you're further to the right of the canal instead of in the center.

 

Dennis, very nice photo -- I shot almost the same shot in Venice but you were able to pull more detail out of the reflection than I. Metering the narrow side canals there is very very tricky. Any suggestions?
